Dr. Anbarasi Kumaresan was born in Hosur(Tamil nadu). She completed her schooling with good academic results. Becoming a doctor was her childhood dream but she developed interest and motivation in oncology due to her mother's illness, who was a cancer warrior for ten years.
She has been trained and mentored by field's best institute at the apex institute of oncology, Cancer Institute, Adyar. She received "The Best Outgoing Student of Radiation Oncology for the year 2015" at Adyar Cancer Research Institute,Adyar.

After completion of her master degree she worked as a Consultant in Cancer Institute, Adayar, Consultant Radiation Oncologist in Universal Cancer Hospital, Salem, Tamil Nadu and currently working as Consultant Clinical Oncologist in Be Well Hospital, Chennai, Tamilnadu.
